Dean rolled onto his elbows, surveying Hera across the bed. Why he'd decided that his one night off would be prime time to have a damn slumber party with a toddler, he didn't know, but he forgot to care pretty quick when she whipped out another flawless monkey face.

"Oh man," he said, trying to tug his ears down as far as hers. "I am so burned. Angua!" he shouted across the hut. "Come over here and avenge my honor!"

"If it involves a snot sculpture I said I refuse," Angua replied, but came over anyway. She was getting some warm water ready in a basin for Hera's bath, as the little girl had gotten herself absolutely muddy from playing outside earlier with Black Dog.

"...What are you trying to do, pull your ears off?"
