"There."

Dean straightened, wiping the remnants of red chalk from his fingers. He stood inside a large circle drawn onto the hut floor, chalk pocketed out of one hand, and sparkley stick in the other.

It was the best he could find under the circumstances.

Stern look in place, he motioned Angua and Castiel forward. They had some shit to sort out, and Dean had had just about enough of it. "All right," he said, "this is the Circle of Trust, okay? Inside the circle of trust, nobody gets angry. That means no shouting, no growling, and absolutely no quoting of Leviticus."

He raised a hand to quell the mutinous look on Angua's face, stepping in to drag her forward. Castiel, at least, came more willingly.

"And this," he said, holding up the stick, "is the Sharing Stick. Whoever's holding the sharing stick..." Dean paused for effect. "Has to share. Cas?" he asked, turning to the angel. "You wanna start?"

"Uh uh uh." Dean waved a finger. "No shouting in the Circle of Trust. Use your 'I feel' statements." He turned to Castiel, silently praying she didn't stab him while his back was turned. "Cas, apparently Angua feels that you don't understand."

Angua growled low in her throat.

Castiel looked from one to the other. "Well, I suppose I do not understand why Angua is so angry with me. She, of all people, should know the difficulties of adapting to humanity."

"Oh please, I was never that dense," Angua muttered.

"Or why it is a hindrance that I look after Dean--"

"Because he doesn't need you to," she interrupted, keeping her voice level. "He isn't a child."

"'I feel' statements, people!" Dean barked. "And pass the stick, c'mon!" Small tantrum thus expended, he grabbed the stick.

"Cas doesn't feel I'm a child, do you, Cas? I'm like his holy mission back home. He's just having a little separation anxiety."

Castiel took the stick, eyes narrowed and mouth pinched in a frown. "I do not feel he is a child, no, but he is my charge and my friend."

Angua grabbed the stick from Castiel and pointed it at Dean, jabbing him in the chest with it. "I feel," she smirked, "that you, need to teach him-" the stick swung toward Castiel's chest "- boundaries."

Dean snatched it back again before anyone got impaled. "Fine," he said, "that's - I feel that's probably my fault. Last time I got sick, remember? You guys were sick of hearing me cough? So I went to his place and sort of bogartedhisbed."

"Oh, that's great Dean. He already wants in your pants!" Angua said, crossing her arms.

Castiel looked blankly from one to the other.

Dean groaned aloud, clutching the sharing stick to his chest like it might save him. "He barely even knows what sex is," he ground out, thrusting the stick at Castiel. "C'mon, help me out a little here."

Castiel took the stick, and was about to say he felt confused, but remembered Angua didn't like that, so he only frowned. "I do not want to wear Dean's pants," he offered. "My own fit fine. And I do not want sex."

"I'm not even married," he said glumly.
